During an academic career encompassing degrees in Fashion, and Textiles, and working as an art teacher, Terry discovered an exciting new method of screen printing whilst experimenting at The Norwich School of Art. She uses this to stunning effect in her paintings, applying inks in a direct and dynamic free-form manner. Intensely vibrant and luminous expanses of primary colour combine in a mesmerising vision of light and form.

These emotional meditations on the Fenland landscape that surround her, are frequently punctuated by window-like motifs; reminiscent of the fragmented hues cast onto the walls and floors of her whitewashed studio. This latest series of works see her painting take flight beyond those studio walls, to more elemental and ethereal planes.

Terry's work has previously been exhibited from Barcelona to London, and across the UK.
