Since
studying Illustration and Graphics at The Cambridge
School of Arts, Katy's metier has become the human form.
Adopting charcoal as her primary medium, she revels
in the speed, unpredictability, and versatility of line
it affords her.
Her use of coloured media, such as pastels, has added
a passionate intensity to her vigorous yet sensitive
draughtsmanship; understandably resulting in exhibitions
in New York, London, Cannes and Dubai. These have met
with both critical acclaim and commercial success. We
are therefore pleased to be able to offer early and
contemporary works covering her landscape, equine and
figurative studies.
In her own words: My objective in painting is to follow
the journey through emotion and thought, to escape into
a world where time ceases to exist. I would like the
viewer to take away an experience unique to them, that
arises out of their contemplation of my work, but which
lies beyond the obvious.
