Whilst
attending Croydon Art College 1961 – 1973 Wilf became
Head of Art at the nearby Fairchilds and Overby Schools.
He then moved to North Wales where he has continued to
teach and paint.
He has had many joint and solo exhibitions, including
those at The Oriel, Ynys Mon; The Attic Gallery, Swansea;
New Gallery, Bond Street, London; Gordon Gallery, Wimbledon;
The Gallery, S. Audley , London ; and The Contemporary
Art Gallery, Twickenham.
Wilf is justly recognised as one of the most popular landscape
artists currently working in North Wales. Working in oils
and acrylics on canvas, often applied in broad palette
knife strokes, he produces strong powerful and original
works which capture the brooding atmosphere and stark
nature of his native landscape. |
