BA Hons 3d Design (Ceramics and Glass) from UCE 1989
Following careers in graphic design and teaching she has
developed an extensive and well collected range of ceramic
fine art pieces including clocks, corsets, handbags and
shoes. The decorative surfaces of the clay are inspired
by historical architecture and textiles. Most pieces are
made as unique projects and others as limited editions.
Fine art and craft galleries right across the UK have
exhibited Amanda’s work ; some having represented
her continuously since 1998 because of the popularity
of her work. Many clients now collect each new design
as they emerge.
She also exhibits at international ceramics fairs and
has featured in ‘Inspirations’ and ‘Country
Living’ magazine articles. |
